What Is FIR Bio-Ceramic Technology? How Far Infrared Warmth Works

FIR Bio-Ceramic technology stands for Far Infrared combined with ceramic fibres such as tourmaline as well as magnesium and silicon oxides. These fibres are worked directly into Firtech textiles and require no external energy source whatsoever.

How does it work?

The ceramic fibres passively absorb the natural warmth of your body. This warmth is then gently returned to the skin as long-wave infrared radiation (6–14 µm). Combined with the compression of the material, this creates a pleasant, long-lasting sensation of warmth – typically in the range of 38–39°C, noticeably warmer than uncovered skin at around 33°C.

What makes Firtech different?

Firtech is the original brand from Greece, developed since 2008 and used millions of times over. All products are CE-certified (Class I medical device) and are manufactured and sewn near Athens.

Who is FIR Bio-Ceramic suitable for?

The technology is intended for general wellbeing, for example for cool joints or after physical strain. It does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment – if symptoms persist, please consult your doctor.
